WHY YOU MIGHT NOT BE REACHING YOUR GOALS

Have You Set Any Goals For Yourself?

Why You Might Not be Reaching Your GoalsDid you set any goals?

Did you write them down?

Did you set a date and time that you want to have them accomplished by?

I was recently on the Cedric Penn's Prosperity Mindset Call.  It Monday through Friday at 10am. EST 7PST.

It's designed to get your day started right.  Here is information on it if you would like to join us.

Prosperity Mindset Call with Cedric Penn

Cedric was talking about Goals.  Here are a few take-a-ways.

To start,

1.  Did you set any goals?  Did you write them down?  Did you set a date and time that you want to have them accomplished by?

If you haven't, you have to do that first.  You can't aim or hit your target if you don't know where it is.

You have to decide want you want to accomplish.  You need to write them down and set a date.  This solidifies them and creates urgency in your mind.

2.  If you have set your goals, when was the last time you reviewed them?

To accomplish any real goal, you need to review them on a daily basis.  Here are a few suggestion to help with that.

Cedric set his goals as his screensaver on his phone so that every time he looks at his phone it reminds him.  That's a great idea, and I am going to implement that suggestion.  That could be one of the reasons Cedric is a 7 figure earner.

Review Your Goals Every Morning And Night

Now this next suggestion is something I do, though I just started it a couple months ago.  And that is to review your goals as soon as you wake up every morning and review them right before you go to bed every night.

That will have you reviewing them alone over 700 times a year. If you do that you are almost certain to accomplish them.

I literally read them right before I go to bed.  I review them in my mind before I fall asleep, which is a real short review for me because I can nearly fall asleep before my head hits the pillow.

In the morning, the first thing I do is read my goals, even before I brush my teeth.

Review Your Goals Right Before You Go To Bed

The reason you want to review your goals right before you go to sleep is you don't have to know all the details of how you are going to accomplished your goal.  Your mind will work on it while you sleep.

Your subconscious mind is far more powerful than you conscious mind.  So let it do it's job and figure out the details for you.

Review Your Goals Right After You Wake Up

As soon as you wake up, let your review of your goals be the first thing you do.  Even before you brush your teeth.  This keeps it in the front of your mind.

Reviewing them first thing in the morning allows you to plan your day according with your goals at the forefront.

I hope you got value and that you review your goals on a daily basis.  If you need any help, be sure to contact me.

4 Things You Want to Consider for Each Goal

Cedric also covered four things you want to consider of each goal.

I'm going to cover them in a separate blog post, but they are powerful.  If you consider these four items for each goal it will help you stay on track and deal with struggles when they come up.
